If you are accessing Summary from the same machine that it is running on then you can always use the address 127.0.0.1 with the correct port number (normally 9000). This, and other related work arounds, are discussed in the FAQ, <http://summary.net/manual/faq.html#connect>. If you are accessing Summary from outside your local network, you must configure your router to allow packets to reach Summary from outside. Exactly how you do that varies dramatically from router to router. For example, 'One Fish Two Fish, Red Fish Blue Fish' can be deconstructed as a searing indictment of the narrow-minded binary counting system. -- Peter van der Linden, Expert C Programming, Deep C Secrets ------------- Go to <http://summary.net/list.html> to update subscription info.
