I have never had any problems using Summary with Norton AntiVirus, but Norton Personal Firewall, and most other personal firewall products, will prevent access to Summary unless you configure it to allow Summary access to remote port 9000 on outgoing connections. Norton AntiVirus and Norton Personal Firewall are often purchased together, for example both come with Norton Internet Security.
