That looks fine, as does everything else you mentioned.

The most complete test would be to take a recent log file, verify by hand 
that it has the new style log entries, and process it with a separate 
copy of Summary with a default configuration. Then check to see if the 
Browser, Platform, Referrer, etc reports are still blank. If that works, 
it should be possible to run through the differences between that setup 
and your normal setup till you find the one that matters. If that doesn't 
work then there is something fairly obscure going on and I would like to 
see a sample log file to see what might be going on.
