No, there is no global setting, this is a per sub-report setting. See "Remove first directory name" etc on the sub-report details page.

If you want to reconfigure a large number of sub-reports at the same time you could try editing Summary's configuration file (config/summary.conf). If you go this route be sure to only edit this file while Summary is not running.
