Summary builds it's database on the basis of the current configuration. If you change the configuration the contents of the database are no longer valid, and Summary needs to go back to the original log files to rebuild the database. There are some configuration settings you can change while staying in incremental mode. If you want to change one of those you are all set. But I get the impression you want to change one of the settings that is locked, in which case you are stuck. For example, 'One Fish Two Fish, Red Fish Blue Fish' can be deconstructed as a searing indictment of the narrow-minded binary counting system. -- Peter van der Linden, Expert C Programming, Deep C Secrets ------------- Go to <http://summary.net/list.html> to update subscription info.
