Thx, When switching from the "Macintosh OS 8, 9, and OS X" version of Summary to the "OSX Command Line (Experts Only)" version of Summary (or when switching between any of the other platforms Summary runs on, such as from Windows to Linux) you should follow the upgrade install instructions in step 4 of the version 1.5 upgrade notes, <http://summary.net/upgrade.html#4>. Everything there applies, except that Custom HTML configuration information will transfer correctly from Summary version 2.0 or higher. Your old and new installs will be completely separate. It is simplest to quit the old version before making the transition, but you can continue running the old version for a little while during the transition if you want.
