[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] Re: [Summary-Talk] comparing reports automatically
It sounds like you want the General:Sub-reports report. It shows visits, hits, errors, bytes for each of the sub-reports you have configured in Summary. Once there you can click on the top half of the report as spredsheet icon, it looks like a 3D bar chart at the top of the report, and that will download the report in a format compatable with spredsheet programs. Good Luck Jason > We have 168 customised reports each analysing different sub-sites within of our website. We would like to rank the sub-sites based on the number of visits and/or total page hits to each site. What we would like to be able to do is to automatically generate/export values of total visits (and/or total page hits) from each subsite into a single spreadsheet format, so that we can rank them and generate visual graphics to present the results. Basically we are trying to avoid manual data entry into a spreadsheet. > > On the subject of spreadsheets I understand from an earlier correspondence with you that "Summary Plus and SP can also provide reports in text format or spreadsheet format". We are currently using Summary SP 2.3.10 is there instructions in the manual or help files on how to access the spreadsheet formats? I am unclear how to generate these formats and could not find any further information on it. ------------- Go to <http://summary.net/list.html> to update subscription info.
