You can save a dramatic amount of disk space if you compress your logs. BZip2 compression slows things down a bit, but it achieves much better compression than the other two (GZip and Zip). >QUESTION: Can Summary look at more than one source when updating >data/creating reports? Yes, as long as that place is somewhere that can be mounted as an active file system. You can put shortcuts (Windows), aliases (Macintosh), or symbolic links (Linux, Sun, OSX) in Summary's Logs folder that point to log files in a different place and Summary will read the logs. For example, 'One Fish Two Fish, Red Fish Blue Fish' can be deconstructed as a searing indictment of the narrow-minded binary counting system. -- Peter van der Linden, Expert C Programming, Deep C Secrets ------------- Go to <http://summary.net/list.html> to update subscription info.
