Well, we don't have Retrospect installed, so I'm guessing that's not
it. This machine is a stock Panther Client installation.

I've rebooted the machine several times in the course of my
troubleshooting, and the problem persists.

I've also tried restoring backups, which had no effect on the problem.

I even tried using a fresh installation of Summary, with no
pre-existing databases. Manually-triggered report processing worked
just fine again, but the incremental processing failed with the above
message.

So I reverted to Summary 2.3.11, and I got this new error upon
completion of the manually-triggered run:

Backing up report database.
DataPutString: String too long, clipped (32734/30548)!
DataPutString: String too long, clipped (32734/30548)!
DataPutString: String too long, clipped (32734/30548)!
DataPutString: String too long, clipped (32734/30548)!

... Followed by this error (slightly different) upon completion of the
automatic incremental run:

Downloaded 8,792 files, 17,929K transferred, 4,294,600,397K on disk, in
3:12.
Incremental processing
StrTable.cpp:860: failed assertion
One of our processes exited abnormally!

Sensing a dead-end here, I reverted further back to 2.3.10. Manual
processing completed without error, and this time, automatic
incremental processing completed as well, but with this error:

Backing up report database.
DataPutString: String too long, clipped (32734/30548)!
DataPutString: String too long, clipped (32734/30548)!
DataPutString: String too long, clipped (32734/30548)!
DataPutString: String too long, clipped (32734/30548)!
Processing is complete!

I haven't seen any crash logs produced in any of these cases, so I
don't know what more to offer. I'm going to have us running 2.3.10 for
now though. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
