[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] Re: [Summary-Talk] Processing logs before 2004
You need to look at the Log Files report. This is one of Summary's reports, viewed through a web browser, that appears on the Report Menu along with all of the other reports that Summary offers. It is in the General section of the Report Menu, near the bottom right. On that report you need to look for the log files from 2003, do they appear, are their first and latest hit dates plausible, do they have large numbers of parse errors or filtered? >Other than that I cannot figure out what I changed. Date ranges are normally set on the main "Time (Schedules, Ranges, Formats)" configuration page. In Summary SP Lite and Summary SP you can also set date ranges on the individual sub-reports. You could have an incorrect entry there, or Summary might be having any of several different problems reading your log files. For example, 'One Fish Two Fish, Red Fish Blue Fish' can be deconstructed as a searing indictment of the narrow-minded binary counting system. -- Peter van der Linden, Expert C Programming, Deep C Secrets ------------- Go to <http://summary.net/list.html> to update subscription info.
