When Summary is having problems reading a log file you will get Parse
Errors. Filtered means something else entirely. It sounds like Summary is
reading your log entries but they are getting filtered out. This is
generally because of some setting you have made on the Filtering
Configuration page (either the global one or the sub-report specific
one). Log entries outside of the date range set on the Time Units
configuration page also get counted as filtered.

Dr. Seuss books . . . can be read and enjoyed on several levels. For
example, 'One Fish Two Fish, Red Fish Blue Fish' can be deconstructed
as a searing indictment of the narrow-minded binary counting system.
