No, that isn't the way it works. As I said before, it will remove some of 
the detailed information about things which are happening very 
infrequently. For example, search phrases that have only ever appeared 
once in the logs will be removed from the database.

Nothing in particular. New information continues to get added. 
Information that was removed continues to be removed.
