First, are you running the most recent version of Summary, currently
2.5.2a or 2.3.12? A bug similar to this one was fixed a release or two
ago.

The error normally means that Summary's database is corrupt. This could
happen in any of several ways, a bug in Summary, a power failure,
hardware problems, etc. The simplest thing is to clear out the current
database and start again and see if the problem repeats.

Try exiting Summary, deleting the report.dat, curvisits.gz, and if it
exists the reports.str files from Summary's Data folder. Then start
Summary again. If you are running in incremental mode you should load a
recent backup. Then process logs again and see if the problem repeats.

Good Luck

Dr. Seuss books . . . can be read and enjoyed on several levels. For
example, 'One Fish Two Fish, Red Fish Blue Fish' can be deconstructed
as a searing indictment of the narrow-minded binary counting system.
