If you have either "Expire hosts and failed requests" or "Expire req.
and ref. if not hit every N days (0-don't)" turned on then the first hit
dates won't always be acurate, as older requests may have been expired.

Otherwise the first hit date is the first date that that specific
request appeared in the log files that you had Summary analyze. Perhaps
the older logs are not being properly included?
