This means that Summary is still working on doing the DNS lookups. DNS lookups can take hours, or even days in some situations. While they are in progress you will see that message. Some of the reports will be inaccurate while DNS lookups are in progress, notably Visitors:Countries (Top Level Domains) and Visitors:Visitors. DNS lookups can take a particularly long time after you give Summary some very large log files that it hasn't seen before. Summary caches the results of the DNS lookups, so they will tend to run very quickly if you are processing logs that Summary has seen before. The "solution" is simply to wait a while. Once DNS lookups are complete that message will go away. Jason ----------------- Jason@Summary.Net ----------------- Dr. Seuss books . . . can be read and enjoyed on several levels. For example, 'One Fish Two Fish, Red Fish Blue Fish' can be deconstructed as a searing indictment of the narrow-minded binary counting system. -- Peter van der Linden, Expert C Programming, Deep C Secrets ------------- Go to <http://summary.net/list.html> to update subscription info.
