[Summary-Talk] Major crashing problems with summary 2.5.2a

We are having serious issues with Summary 2.5.2a SP.  We are not able to 
get a 
report run to complete.  Summary does not tells us what it is crashing 
on, or 
even a useful error message.  All we get is "One of our processes exited 
abnormally!" and the reports stop processing there.  These crashes do not 
happen consistently with any certain log files, they happen pretty much 
randomly as far as I can tell.

We are also getting crashes on the DNS lookup as well.  For these it 
looks 
like we have a crash message though:

Starting DNS lookups.
524,259 (of 527,915) IPs to be resolved, checking the DNS cache file.
summary: common/input.cpp:416: void INConsume(void*, int): Assertion 
`len>0 && 
len<=in->buff_cnt+1' failed.
One of our processes exited abnormally!

After 2 hours it has only been able to complete a couple thousand DNS 
lookups.

We have reset the whole system multiple times, had summary re-download 
the 
logs, had summary restore from a known working backup, and it still does 
the 
exact same thing.


Any help would be greatly appreciated.
