The unable to open the port message is a bug in OS X, that I can't do anything about. If Summary doesn't exit cleanly, ie if you use force quit, then you will run into that problem. The only practical workaround is to reboot. The initial failure in Summary is probably a bug, which I can hopefully do something about. Do you know anything more about it, when it happens, anything? I haven't seen that here. If I can get it to happen here I can probably fix it. For example, 'One Fish Two Fish, Red Fish Blue Fish' can be deconstructed as a searing indictment of the narrow-minded binary counting system. -- Peter van der Linden, Expert C Programming, Deep C Secrets ------------- Go to <http://summary.net/list.html> to update subscription info.
