[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] [Summary-Talk] Strange Tracking of URL Tokens
I lost a hard drive with some analysis on it that I'm trying to recreate. I've DLed the log files again , set up Summary again and ran it - which took several hours. My problem is that I have a tracking URL which take the form of /clicks.asp?affid=1111=mcode=1223, where the numbers identify the referrers & site. Normally summary lets me see a breakdown of how many of each have come in via the pages report. The new set up steadfastly refuses to identify anything after the clicks.asp bit. I've no way to identify which affiliate is working. I've playyed around with the settings till I'm blue in the face and can't get it to work. In desperation I checked the logs and found that the URL format reported was sans the ? , it was like clicks.asp affid=1111=mcode=1223. All the logs are like this. I've no idea why this should be. The logs are from an PC running IIS, Dled via Timbuktu and processed on Summary 2.5.2a under OSX 10.3.5. It was all working fine up until I lost the HD last week. The logs should be exactly the same. Any idea? I've a report to get out tomorrow on this server and I'm lost.
