You can't do both of those things at once with Summary (basic) unless you
"manually" move the logs around. Moving the logs around could be
scripted, but Summary won't do it for you.

Summary SP Lite and SP have date range settings for each sub-report, but
Summary (basic) and Plus don't. If the current months logs were in a
separate folder from the older logs you could configure one sub-report to
report on just that folder, and another sub-report to report on all of
the logs in both folders.

Dr. Seuss books . . . can be read and enjoyed on several levels. For
example, 'One Fish Two Fish, Red Fish Blue Fish' can be deconstructed
as a searing indictment of the narrow-minded binary counting system.
