Under >Menu->Configuration->Log Downloading, what >path/URL should I put? If Summary is running on the same machine as the web server then you don't normally need to download the logs. Instead you make an alias (shortcut/symbolic link) to the logs and put it in Summary's Logs folder. By default OSX Server puts it's log files in "/private/var/log/httpd". If you are using the regular Macintosh version of Summary that can cause problems, because Summary won't be able to access the /private directory. The OSX Command Line version of Summary doesn't have this problem. You can work around it either by reconfiguring the web server to write the logs to a different place, or by downloading them. If you do download the logs you would use a URL like: <ftp://127.0.0.1/private/var/log/httpd/access*> Good Luck Jason ----------------- Jason@Summary.Net ----------------- Dr. Seuss books . . . can be read and enjoyed on several levels. For example, 'One Fish Two Fish, Red Fish Blue Fish' can be deconstructed as a searing indictment of the narrow-minded binary counting system. -- Peter van der Linden, Expert C Programming, Deep C Secrets ------------- Go to <http://summary.net/list.html> to update subscription info.
