Re: [Summary-Talk] Set web browser to...

Summary looks for the first available port number in the sequence 9000,
8000, 7000, and so on. If the port is in use it tries the next one until
it finds an available port. When Summary started up on port 7000, ports
9000 and 8000 must have been in use by another program.

You can force Summary to use a specific port by setting "Port to serve
on (0-autoselect)" on the Details configuration page. However, if the
port you specify is in use Summary won't be able to startup.

I have no idea why "3wsecure.net" was missing one time, but that doesn't
really matter. Summary listens on all IP addresses (on all interfaces)
regardless of what it displays there (unless you set "IP address to
serve on (blank is any)"). The "Set web browser to" display is just a
convenience.

Dr. Seuss books . . . can be read and enjoyed on several levels. For
example, 'One Fish Two Fish, Red Fish Blue Fish' can be deconstructed
as a searing indictment of the narrow-minded binary counting system.
