Re: [Summary-Talk] Summary & Alexa

There are a couple of things you can do to verify that Summary is
producing plausible results. The key thing is to examine the Log File
report and make sure that Summary is reading all of the log files that
you would expect it to be reading and that there aren't unusually high
numbers of parse errors or filtered log entries or log entries not in
any report.

It is also a good idea to look at the Time reports to make sure that the
current results are in line with the historical behavior of your site.
Any problems with the server should be very obvious in the Time reports
if you have a reasonably long period of old logs reported on.

Alexa is know to be fairly far off on occasion, so I would expect that
that is really the issue.

Dr. Seuss books . . . can be read and enjoyed on several levels. For
example, 'One Fish Two Fish, Red Fish Blue Fish' can be deconstructed
as a searing indictment of the narrow-minded binary counting system.
