[Summary-Talk] Delete subreport = reset database?

I am running summary SP in incremental mode.  If I remove a subreport 
from the configuration of summary do I have to reset my whole database?

I have been testing removal of subreports and summary either crashes the 
next time I run a report ( If I do not restart).  Or if I restart 
summary it tries to rerun as if it is starting from the beginning 
instead of running in incremental mode.

Is this a known issue?
