That is what I would expect as well.

Running 2.5.3 currently.

I had just restored from a backup created the night before, which was a
successful run of recreating the database after an admin mistake.

Nope machine has been running stable for awhile now.

Looks like we are going to have to go this route again Jason...  You 
have been down that road before... (poor Matrix reference).
