[Summary-Talk] Summary over NFS?

Hola peeps,

I've got about 18 or 20 sites to report logs against, all of which
happen to store logs on our centralized NFS system. So I came up with
the idea of setting up a separate box, throwing 18 or 20 sub interfaces
up on it, firing off Summary, one for each site bound to one of the sub
interfaces, and mounting the logs directory via NFS.

So I guess what I'm wondering, is if Summary is NFS friendly? It's
not ideal, but setting up something like this keeps me from having to
run the stats by hand every month for all these web sites.

This would be done under a Solaris 9/Sparc system (I'm thinking a
V100 with about a gig of ram should do it). The backend NFS system is a
pair of clustered SunFire V240s running Veritas HA and NFS services.

The sizes of the logs I'm going to be working with range anywhere
from a single-log file of 8G, to a bunch of smaller files totalling
about 3 or 4G.
