When "Use session IDs to determine visits" is turned on requests that
don't have a session ID are either all counted in one visit, or are
filtered out, depending on the setting of "Ignore requests with no
session ID".

To find that out you need to process the logs twice, once with session
ID tracking turned on and once with it turned off. However, it won't be
possible for you to determine visits without the session IDs unless you
have the visitors IP addresses in the logs.

You can't do exactly that with Summary, but if you set "Number of idle
minutes to end visit" to something like 14 or 15 hours (840 or 900), you
will get something very close to what you are looking for.

You should be able to reconfigure your web server to log the actual
visitor IP address. Instructions for doing this should be in the
front-end cache documentation.

Dr. Seuss books . . . can be read and enjoyed on several levels. For
example, 'One Fish Two Fish, Red Fish Blue Fish' can be deconstructed
as a searing indictment of the narrow-minded binary counting system.
