[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] Re: [Summary-Talk] Filtering Search Words
This is fairly easy to do in the Search Words report, but depending on
exactly what you are trying to do won't work for the Search Phrases report.
In the Search Words report, you can use Report Filters to eliminate
words you are not interested. Set one of the Report Filters, for example
"User filter one" on the Report Filters configuration page, to a list of
words that you don't want to appear. Then reconfigure the Search Words
report, the wrench icon at the top of the report, to filter Name on User
One List.
You could eliminate any phrase that included a short word from the
Search Phrases report using a similar approach. But what I think is
probably the best thing to do, delete the short words and then combine
the phrases with others that never contained the short words, is not
possible in Summary. I will add that as a wish list item.

Dr. Seuss books . . . can be read and enjoyed on several levels. For
example, 'One Fish Two Fish, Red Fish Blue Fish' can be deconstructed
as a searing indictment of the narrow-minded binary counting system.
