[Summary-Talk] Backup not Restoring

OSX 10.3.9

The hard drive running Summary ran out of disk space. This problem
has been fixed, but now Summary unexpectedly quits each time it tries
to launch:

   Read error on string table content 'report.str', resetting
   Read error on DataTable 'reaport.dat', resetting.
   Database is empty, looking for a suitable backup!
   Restoring backup from slot 1
   Restored 698,752 records so far.

What recovery steps do I need to implement?
