great! any help with referrer spam would be greatly appreciated.

also, we might be able to come up with approaches that operate on raw 
logs, so they can be used with any analytics package.

i poked around the MT-Blacklist site and found a script that filters 
server logs through a blacklist, usually MT-Blacklist. i'm considering 
extending it to use RBLs and DNSBLs like Spamhaus, which would give it 
an extra kick.
