[Summary-Talk] Starting Summary with a Crontab

I have Summary starting up with a crontab every day but if I go to the
terminal and try to quit Summary it says it is not running. If I check 
the Activity Monitor I see nine summary processes running is that normal?

OSX 10.4.2
Summary SP 2.5.5 CLI
