[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] Re: [Summary-Talk] Summary 2.6 final is now available
This new Macintosh only feature is still a work in progress. Currently,
it installs a startup script and changes how the "Summary" application
works (monitoring the log instead of starting up Summary processing).
There is some status monitoring and restarting, which generally works,
but it hasn't proven sufficient in all situations. The "cron" approach
mentioned in the manual is currently slightly more reliable. That is why
this whole thing is not documented yet.

Dr. Seuss books . . . can be read and enjoyed on several levels. For
example, 'One Fish Two Fish, Red Fish Blue Fish' can be deconstructed
as a searing indictment of the narrow-minded binary counting system.
