[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] [Summary-Talk] Re: Summary 2.6.4 Phrase with Link to Engine
you know, as soon as I went to implement this, I noticed a design 'problem'... I *like* the existing drill down links that I have setup for the phrases by engine/engines by phrase... if I swap them out, I kind of lose perspective on the data. it occurred to me that I'd like to see an additional column with nothing more than an icon (rather than repeating the phrase, for example) that could be wired up to the phrase on engine link. then I could have cake and eat it too, yum. a good icon would be the engine favicon, of course, but anything would do. simply repeating the phrase would be misleading, since it would then appear twice, each doing something different when clicked on. what do others think? I just *love* the functionality, I'm hoping to find a clear method of deploying it to my users. another thought would be to use a target="_blank" for the link, since it's sending the user away from the stats (they're likely to close the window after looking at the engine results, which loses their place in the stats.) thanks again, Jason!
