I have processed logs totaling over 1 Tera byte (1024GB) and I have
worked with customers whose logs are at least twice that size.

When your log files get very large you need to keep a close eye on
memory usage. Watch the "Memory used" value on the Program Status report
and be sure that it doesn't exceed the amount of memory physically
installed on the machine. The out of memory FAQ has various suggestions
about what to do when memory usage gets too high,
