Attempting to install the Summary service on OS X before running Summary
manually doesn't do anything except display a message saying that you
need to run Summary manually first.
It seems most likely that either you had more than one copy of Summary
running at the same time and that that used up all of your virtual
memory or there was a glitch unrelated to Summary that just happened to
happen at the same time you first ran the new version.

Dr. Seuss books . . . can be read and enjoyed on several levels. For
example, 'One Fish Two Fish, Red Fish Blue Fish' can be deconstructed
as a searing indictment of the narrow-minded binary counting system.
