[Summary-Talk] RE: Summary 3.0 beta 5 is now available for Windows

Jason,

Hello.

We just purchased Summary - I assume we are in line to get the free
upgrade to version 3.0

When do you anticipate the final version to ship?

Summary 3.0 beta 5 is finally available for Windows. Summary 3.0 will be
a paid upgrade for owners of previous versions. People who purchase
Summary on or after March 28th 2006 will receive a free upgrade to
Summary 3.0 when it ships.

You can download it here:

We would very much appreciate hearing any feedback, positive or
negative, that you have about the beta version. This beta version will
expire on June 27, 2006. You are welcome to try it out until then.

New features in Summary 3 include:

* Completely redesigned overviews! The overviews are now task oriented
and include pie charts and interactive bar charts and line graphs. The
new overviews put all the information you might need for several common
tasks all in one place.

* New appearance throughout. Now uses CSS and supports recent HTML
standards.

* The Windows version now uses a new installer, allowing compatibility
with 64 bit versions of Windows (in 32 bit mode).

See <http://summary.net/beta.html> for a complete list of changes.

Dr. Seuss books . . . can be read and enjoyed on several levels. For
example, 'One Fish Two Fish, Red Fish Blue Fish' can be deconstructed as a
searing indictment of the narrow-minded binary counting system.
