[Summary-Talk] Summary 3 layout/CSS

Jason --

Any chance that we might see a more flexible CSS-based layout for the
Overview page? Ideally, I'd like to embed the Summary overview in an
iframe in my client hosting control panel, but the current design
seems to require a minimum width of 850px for the overview page. A
bit too wide for reasonable inclusion.

What I'd love to see if a tableless layout, allowing it to flex with
varying browser widths. You could still maintain the tables within
discrete boxes ("Sources of visitors","Bandwidth Usage"), but if the
boxes themselves were DIVs with a "float:left", then at least the
page would rearrange itself depending on the available window size.

I'm thinking of something along the lines (design-wise) of Shaun
Inman's elegant "Mint" (see http://www.designologue.com/mint/ and
change the width of your browser window to see how it reacts). I'd
even be happy to help if need be -- I have several years experience
with the construction of tableless layouts for dynamic data.

I only have Summary Plus, so perhaps this option is feasible as part
of the "full free form customization of the Overviews" in Summary SP/
Lite, but it isn't quite clear. (Perhaps the solution is simply a
new, custom overview page constructed by hand.)

Cheers,
spud.
