That is why I suggested importing the report to a different sheet in your workbook. You can then write some simple formulas to copy over only the columns you are interested in and the formatting in the primary sheet will not be affected. Also, are you using the reports in Excel format? Importing HTML versions of the reports is far more likely to affect the formatting than when you are using the Excel versions. Excel is incredibly powerful and just about any kind of formatting is possible in Excel with enough work. You might want to ask an Excel expert or Excel users forum for more detailed advice on using Excel as that is really outside the subject area of this list.
